Sunlight-Colored Roses

A sanctuary for dreams and shadows

Nook

I’m thinking about getting a tablet and giving Nathan my laptop.

I don’t remember writing this, but I got my Nook, so I can finish my thoughts. I am giving Nathan my computer. It’s a new Macbook Air. I just really like the idea of not having a computer.

I have spent all morning with my Nook. I love reading books on it. I have many PDF books I can read on it, and I have been buying Nook eBooks for years for my phone and my laptop anyway.

I have downloaded many apps, but the most crucial app, Evernote, is the deciding factor, and I can’t use it until my expansion card arrives. If I have the security of being able to access Evernote easily from my phone and Nook, then I will feel my writing is accessible, and I will be comfortable without a computer.

It seems like I store most of my data on the web now. It is less confusing for me. I use Dropbox, which works well with my Nook.

Two issues with the Nook: (1) Will I get used to the small keyboard? (2) transferring photos from my camera.
