Sunlight-Colored Roses

A sanctuary for dreams and shadows

The rain streams and streams

and I don’t know how to take it

or how to enjoy it

It doesn’t seem real

like the parched earth did

The wind blows the gray rain

And the large green leaves

The weather shifted over this place on the earth

And made it a new place, even though it’s the same place

It rains in sudden summer storms

And I don’t know how to be glad

Or how to
