I had bought two Harlequin Superromance books some time ago: Megan Alexander’s Blossoms in the Snow (#95; 1983) and Cynthia Parker’s Tiger Eyes (#100; 1983). I’m not sure how I managed to find two books set in Asian countries, whether I just found them or made these selections from a larger stock. I must have read Blossoms in the Snow many years ago. I don’t remember it very well. One thing I didn’t like about it was that it was basically just Americans having a romance in Japan. It disappointed me that it wasn’t an interracial romance. Tiger Eyes, however, is, and I like the book much better. It’s a romance between an American reporter and Indian prince. I had started it, I think, last year, but never finished it, so I started it again today to ward off a headache from looking at my screen for too long.
Here is a list of the Superromance books in order.
I looked at the first thirty only. Most are set in the United States, Europe, or a tropical island, but some are interracial romances. There’s two I saw set in Russia and at least three in the Middle East. Just taking note for myself because I might collect some of these later.
