Last night, Nathan and I went to Sushi Axiom for dinner. I had a wonderful time. I got the Double Happiness roll, which was one of the most delicious rolls I’ve ever had, as well as a margarita, and just de-stressed about a stressful week with Nathan. I don’t think we’ve been to that place in ten years, and it was refreshing. They played the perfect sushi restaurant trance techno type of music and were all decked out for Halloween.
Last night, Moon took a turn for the much worse. We were up with him from 3 AM, and Nathan took him to VSNT this morning. They’re keeping him over the weekend, which really disappoints us, especially since we’re switching to palliative care now.
I spent the morning cleaning up where Moon was sick all night, which was many places, then worked on my website a little and made Halloween cupcakes. We’re going to stay in tonight. It’s a gray, dismal day. I also installed the dog hammock in my new car, so when brighter days come, Chèvre and I can go joy-riding for a handcrafted latte and treats in the Lexus.
Who would have ever thought Rendon would get a coffee shop? It’s the absolute cutest, and they have dog treats to boot. On a better day. A better weekend.
